Maybe it’s me, but I remember a golden age of taking a bus into town for a pint, dandering home and still having enough change for a Spuds on the way – all from an 8 pound note.
Nowadays people literally have to sing for their supper. It’s a little known fact that in some cultures a jaunty tune is still accepted as a viable fare on city-wide public transportation. Enter this young upstart, John D’Arcy, and his band of men.
Please check out his site and his brand new EP “More Like Me”. And if only we all could be – we would be less likely to be thrown off public transport for creating a nuisance that’s for sure- no matter how hard we tried. And there’s a lesson.
